KJH Academic Departments

The following individuals, elected by their departments, meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month to assist the Principal with curricular and budget matters. The department chairpersons, under the direction of the building principal, is responsible for assisting the development of the academic program for the building and the district in the area in which s/he serves as department head. Their specific responsibilities are defined in the KJH Staff Handbook. For questions or suggestions related to specific academic curricula , these individuals are wonderful resources.
